Abstract | Theoretical calculations have been performed for the temperature stability of the amorphous $TeO_{2}/128degY-X$ $LiNbO_{3}$ structure. The phase velocity, electromechanical coupling coefficient and temperature coefficient of delay (TCD) have been calculated. Amorphous $TeO_{2}$ film has been found as an attractive negative TCD over-layer that can yield a zero TCD when combined with a positive TCD material such as 128 deg Y-X LiNb03. And in comparison to conventional $SiO_{2}$ over-layer, the amorphous $TeO_{2's}$ film reaches the zero TCD under a much less thickness. The effect of the temperature coefficients of amorphous $TeO_{2's}$ elastic constants on the structure's TCD has also been studied. We find the temperature coefficients of amorphous $TeO_{2}$ $C_{n}$ have a more dominant effect on TCD. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
