Abstract This chapter presents the OECD review of England’s educational R&D system. The purpose of these reviews is to assess to which extent the educational R&D system within a country is functioning as an effective means for creating, collating and distributing the knowledge on which practitioners and policy can draw. The general assessment of England’s educational R&D system is positive. The directions taken in the many initiatives to improve the knowledge management of England’s educational system are convincing.
