Abstract A helical resonator for SQUID magnetometer operation in the 30 MHz-l GHz frequency range is described. The device offers a convenient means of utilizing the expected linear increase in SQUID sensitivity with operating frequency throughout this range. Experimental rersults which demonstrate this effect at 460 MHz are presented. (auth)
