Abstract In Sb crystals were irradiated with neutrons at room temperature. The infrared transmission was measured in the wavelength range 17-5 mu . At 100 deg K the transmission of the irradiated crystals was 10% greater than the transmission of the unirradiated samples at the same temperature. This increase of transparency is discussed.
