Abstract This work describes a high resolution, high sensitivity bio-sensor implemented by integrating MEMS structure with CMOS technology. An array of MOS readout is proposed for improving the sensitivity and resolution using correlation gain of a matched filter. Such a system-on-chip has the detection capability of bio-molecules in sub-picogram range.
