Abstract There are several proposed algorithms for distributed power control of wireless networks. In this article an extended algorithm including high order dynamics is discussed and sufficient conditions for stability are derived. The stability analysis is first made using analysis in linear scale and then with logarithmized variables in a control theoretic approach, using both input-output and Lyapunov theory.
