Abstract In this paper a CMOS based fuzzy inference system is implemented which includes a programmable transconductance mode Membership Function Circuit (MFC) as fuzzifier, a single layer multi-input MIN circuit as fuzzy inference and multiplier-divider circuit along with Current Replication Circuit (CRC) realized as defuzzifier. The proposed MFC generates four basic membership functions (Gaussian, S-type, Z-type and trapezoidal) for fuzzification. Centroid method is used for defuzzification. The simulation result of each circuit is confirmed by PSPICE analysis.
