Abstract The modification of algorithm of Remez for the best uniform approximation of analog prototype transmission coefficients used in synthesis of none-recursive digital filters is proposed. The prototype transmission coefficient has a specified number of transmission zeroes in stop band region. Variations of the group delay time were reduced with the help of the phase corrector of the 2nd order.
