Abstract This paper presents the application of Hidden Markov Models and Artificial Neural Networks to recognise trajectory patterns in a Euclidean space from data filtered and parametrised by the Fast Fourier Transform. The data comes from the movement of a device based on accelerometers which is used by the Nintendo Wii.
