Abstract Tunneling has been observed at the barrier formed by the intergrowth surface of the superconducting bicrystals BaPb/sub 1-x/Bi/sub x/O/sub 3/. It has been determined that this compound has a ratio 2..delta..(0)/kT/sub c/ = 3.6 +- 0.1 and that the differential-conductivity peak has a doublet structure.
