Abstract We report on the reconstruction of the decay mode {ital B}{sup 0}{r_arrow}{ital J}/{psi}{ital K}{sup 0}{sub {ital S}} using 19.3 pb{sup {minus}1} of data collected by the Collider Detector at Fermilab in {bar {ital pp}} collisions at {radical}{ital s}=1.8 TeV. A signal of 41.8{plus_minus}6.9 events, with a signal-to-background ratio of 9:1, is observed. Three additional decay modes {ital B}{sup +}{r_arrow}{ital J}/{psi}{ital K}{sup +}, {ital B}{sup 0}{r_arrow}{ital J}/{psi}{ital K}{sup *}(892){sup 0}, and {ital B}{sup +}{r_arrow}{ital J}/{psi}{ital K}{sup *}(892){sup +} are reconstructed. We measure three ratios of branching ratios, each one relative to the {ital B}{sup +}{r_arrow}{ital J}/{psi}{ital K}{sup +} mode. We also report the ratio of decay rates, {Gamma}({ital B}{r_arrow}{ital J}/{psi}{ital K}{sup *})/{Gamma}({ital B}{r_arrow}{ital J}/{psi}{ital K}), for the vector-vector relative to the vector-pseudoscaler modes, to be 1.32{plus_minus}0.23(stat){plus_minus}0.16(syst). {copyright} {ital 1996 The American Physical Society.}
