Abstract The catalytic activity of radioactive and non-radioactive MgSO<sub>4</sub> and Na<sub>2</sub>SO<sub>4</sub> was studied. It was concluded that decreased catalytic activity of a radioactive catalyst is caused only by the decay of the radioactive isotope. (P.C.H.)
