Abstract This article explores some of the major issues of wireless networks in libraries and components of the wi-fi technology are discussed. Fortunately, the technology has advanced considerably and can be deployed without sacrificing the security of library’s network. The weakness of security for all Ethernet networks is eavesdropping.
