Abstract Results are reported from a study on the mechanism of the radiation effect upon the synthesis of desoxyribonucleic acid in mouse Ehrlich ascites tumor cells. The effect of oxygen on the inhibition of synthesis of desoxyribonucleic acid by x radiation was also studied. Data are presented graphically and results are discussed. (C.H.)
