Abstract The differential cross section for proton-proton scattering was measured for 23 center-of-mass angles from 10 deg to 90 deg , with plus or minus 0.8% absolute probable error at angles greater than 14 deg . The incident proton energy was 25.63-Mev lab. The 90 deg cross section is 18.59 millibarns, and the interference minimum of 17.09 mb occurs at 24 deg c.m. A set of phase shifts which fit the data are: /sup 1/S/sub 0/, 49.5 deg ; /sup 3/P/sub 0/, 8.2 deg ; / sup 3/P/sub 1/, --4-2 deg ; /sup 3/P/sub 2/, 2-0 deg ; /sup 1/D/sub 2/, 0.62 deg . (a uth)
