Abstract An analytical scope for the steady-state properties of the divertor plasma of the fusion reactor is introduced, namely, the ultimate concentration for He/sup +/ and He/sup -/ with respect to the divertor effectiveness parameter and impurity diffusion coefficient. Also, the tensorial form for the divertor plasma electrical conductivity in terms of the shielded coulomb multicollision cross sections has been observed to constitute compatible matching for the magneto-fluid interaction phenomenon throughout the divertor channel.
