Abstract We report results for {rho}{minus}{omega} mass splitting and mixing obtained from a QCD-based field theory model applied up to the level of one pion loop. The pion loop correction is found to be too small to match {rho}{minus}{omega} mixing with the successful phenomenology for the charge symmetry breaking (CSB) NN force, but does yield excellent results for the {rho} width and {rho}{minus}{omega} mass splitting. {copyright} {ital 1995} {ital American} {ital Institute} {ital of} {ital Physics}.
