Description Azad: The Martyr is a fourteen chapter of text book English Reader for class VIII. The chapter is about Chandra Shekhar who popularly known as Chandra Shekhar Azad. Chandra Shekhar Azad was a great Indian freedom fighter. His fierce patriotism and courage inspired others to enter the freedom struggle. Betrayed by an informer to the British police finding himself surrounded, he shot himself at Azad Park (Alfred Park) in Allahabad. There are different task like passage exercise, repeat words, rearrange them to make meaningful words, make antonyms by using the prefix ‘dis’ is given for student.
