Abstract Mechanically alloyed (MA) Al-Ti based alloy has been known as a promising candidate for high temperature structural application because of highly stable Al{sub 3}Ti phase and very low equilibrium solubility and diffusivity of Ti in Al. Recently it has been reported that the addition of Si to MA Al-Ti alloy can significantly improve its strength at both the ambient and elevated temperatures. The objective of this study was to investigate the creep property of MA Al-10Ti-2Si (in wt%) alloy in a wide range of stress (60--310 MPa) and temperature (300--450 C) at the absence of the information on its creep property.
