Abstract Learning technologists have stated innumerable times that delivery technology is irrelevant. What really matters is that the learning materials are designed and developed in line with accepted best practice in instructional design whichever formula that happens to be at the time. Yet, as soon as that statement is made, everyone becomes sidetracked by the latest piece of learning delivery technology. Do delivery technologies indeed matter, or is content really still king in e-learning?
