Abstract The concept of average is flawed. We need a fundamental change in how we help learners achieve and contribute their best so they can move beyond average. In "The End of Average" Todd Rose argues the metrics we use to assess success--test scores, performance reviews, and grades--are antiquated and doing more harm than good.
