Abstract Case's general solution of the one-velocity transport equation is applied to the limiting behavior of the asymptotic flux in a noncapturing medium, Milne's problem and extrapolation distance, and connection at an interface of asymptotic flux and current. Case's general solution is then compared with that obtained by the P/sub L/ approximation. An extension is given to the case of anisotropic scattering.
