Abstract A liquid scintillator loaded with indium is used to study the fourth- forbidden beta decay of In/sup 1//sup 1//sup 5/. Specific activity measurements yield a half-life of (6.9 plus or minus 1.5) x 10/sup 1//sup 4/ years. A crude beta spectrum is obtained. Linear extrapolation of the Fermi-Kurie plot gives an end-point energy of 625 plus or minus 70 kev. (auth)
