Abstract The relative yield of the reaction d i Li/sup 6/ yields 2 He/sup 4/ + 22.3 Mev in the deuteron energy interval of 1-2.5 Mev and the angular distributions of alpha particles at E/sub d/ = 1, 1.25, 1.5, of semiconductor detectors. The experimental angular distributions agree well with the calculated ones in the assumption of pick-up interaction for the reaction
