Abstract A description is presented of a 16-channel quasioptical interferometer of original design with a system for detecting, accumulating, and archiving experimental data. The interferometer was used in the T-10 device to study the behavior of the electron density profile in various regimes. The high spatial resolution ({triangle}x = 4.2 cm) allowed the measurements to be carried out in regimes with microwave breakdown of the plasma and revealed essential features (in comparison with 8-channel measurements) in the behavior of Ne(r) in the ohmic regimes with {open_quotes}marfe.{close_quotes} 1 ref., 4 figs.
