Abstract We have developed a new 1/4-inch 380 k pixel IT-CCD for video cameras. The main characteristics match the conventional 1/3-inch CCDs. This CCD makes external bias circuits unnecessary. By reducing the H-CCD pulse amplitude to 3.6 V, low power consumption and low EMI (electromagnetic interference) are obtained.<<ETX>>
