Abstract Results of the dissociation equilibrium calculations in thre facula models indicate that more molecules form in the 7B2J Chapman model. Equivalent width calculations in 7B2J model show that the CO⁺ lines of (0-3) band of the transition A ² ∏I - X²∑⁺ and the lines of MgH (0-0) band belonging to the transition A ² ∏ - X²∑⁺ should not be detectible in the facular spectrum.
